I had to travel downtown twice to take pictures for a site visit in my Graduate 1 Comprehensive Design Studio and ended up taking some 500 pictures, and assembling 50 of the best ones into a book for a site analysis. I spent all day today trying to put that together, and add the extra pressure of reading 20 pages of material for Advanced Design theories and studying for that in case we get quizzed on the material.
So if this volume of work continues any work I post here will likely be associated with that project as I won't have much time for anything else on the side. What's interesting is that despite having classes only two days a week, I'm already finding that 4 or 5 days off is barely enough to keep up with the work so far. I do of course expect this to improve slightly given that some of the time I used was spent traveling all over town to get information, though by no means do I expect this to be a cake walk. Undergraduate architecture was very demanding, and the master's program is on a totally different level than what I'd been taking before. This isn't bad either, of course because I'm expected to perform at a roughly professional level; experience I need to be exposed to, but I'm sure gonna miss having the time to just use CAD for screwing around as opposed to having very specific projects. Such is life I suppose XD
